Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 cup oil, preferably vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup semisweet vegan chocolate chips (optional)
Baking Instructions:
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, cocoa, baking powder).
- Mix wet ingredients (water, oil, vanilla).
- Mix together, 50 strokes, or until well blended. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Spread mixture into a greased 13×9″ pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, or until a knife can be inserted and come out clean.
