Low Sodium Recipe: Herb and Cheese Mashed Potatoes

It can sometimes be difficult to find good low sodium recipes, here is a good one that you might enjoy!

Low Sodium Herb and Cheese Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lb Potatoes
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • 4 T Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 c Milk
  • 1/4 t Garlic Powder
  • 1 T Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 t Thyme

Directions:

  1. Peel potatoes and slice thinly.
  2. Boil in water until soft, drain thoroughly.
  3. Mash with electric mixer until smooth. Stir in cheese and melted butter.
  4. Add milk and mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in herbs.
  6. Adjust the amount of milk to achieve the desired consistency.
