Banana bars have always been one of my favorite recipes, but they aren’t always available for people on low fat diets. Here is a low fat recipe for banana bars that can fill that void.
Low Fat Banana Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 mashed banana (ripe)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8 inch pan.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add milk and banana; beat for two minutes or until well mixed.
- Add egg and beat for 30 seconds.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
